Another Engine Swap Question

Ya I know, use the search. I tried, it tells me I can't. So I have to ask.

I have a chance to buy either a 222 hp or 255 hp motor fairly cheaply. They are fairly low mileage engines both from SE 5spd models.

Mechanically... how much work is involved? Are the engine mounts in the same/similar locations? Will either engine bolt to the 5spd in a 92 SE? I think I'll need most of the engine wiring loom, the ECU and several other pieces from under the hood. Has ANYBODY even tried this before?

And ya, I know it's be cheaper/wiser/quicker to just buy the Max I want. This is what I tell people all the time when they ask me about turning their NA MKI MR2 into a Supercharged MR2. Just go and buy a MR2SC and be done with it.

The problem here is that I like the 3rd Gen body MUCH better, it's lighter, has the multi-link rear suspension and so on. I just covet the later engine's horsepower as a base to start from.

Any clues as to how difficult this may turn out to be?

Should I really be looking for a 2002 Front Cut?
