you guys know how someone said on here that the auto trannies have a cold start thing to where it puts the tranny in 3rd gear until it warms up? anyone know exactly how this works? i want to be able to make a switch to where it will let me start in 3rd gear. thanks.

 

havent heard of making a switch to make it cold start.. I usually thought is was a mechanical issue, due to the oil's vescoucity warming up and lubracating the tranny gears. after the oil warms up the oil moves freely through the vb. at least that what happends. and i think that is how you get hard shifting as though you have a vb mod when you first start your maxima, and drive with it shifting and kicking in.
