I had my mechanic install my JWT yesterday and I am really happy with it. He was worried that it might possible damage my mass airflow sensor placed right next to it because of too much air, but he was not sure. I just wanted to know if anyone has had or know of any problems with the mass airflow sensor when upgrading the intake?
thanks,
clark

i have yet to hear of anythign bad heppening from adding a filter so you will be fine. im sure you can find many in this forum alone that have had filters on for more then a year liek myself with no probs whatsoever, all its doing is letting more air in, thats never a bad thing

clark, are you going to do any of these florida meets? i want to see some otehr max's that are in FL

well a local store by me(The Drivers Seat) which has supplied me wiht alot of my mods had the cone filter wiht heat sheild. i had previously had just a generic cone filter but i liked the way the heat sheild looked and performed. for not haveing a CAI i think that heat sheild works fine. the intake tubing was form a belive some kind of eclipse and i jsut modified it a little. i dont think anythign can compare to the CAI but at the time it was either a place racing CAI for $220 or my ractive set up for under $100 so that was an easy pic. im most likly going to go for the warpspeed CAI as soon as it comes out i mean i heard like $150 for the whole thing and for CAI thats cheap!
but the JWT intake u have performes very well as far as amount of air, im not sure how that owuld compare to a CAI in terms of sound , i htink its resonance level is lower. wow i can go on forever about thsi stuff haha

hey maxse91...

I was just wondering how you fit 6X9"s up front because I've been measuring for my 6.75"s and I must say that I thought about 6X9"s but figured it would be near impossible. I've got to say that I am impressed. Are the speakers going horizontally or vertically (Is the 9" part the length or the heighth)?
