How much is changing the Knock Sensor(Labor+part)?

My car is 92' SE, 110K. The knock sensor has never been changed, and
my car runs ok, but maybe not as powerful as new car.
I am not sure if I should change the knock sensor, anyone can give me
some suggestions?
BTW, how much for changing it, labor+part in Nissan dealer?

I ordered my knock sensor for courtesy nissan and it ran me about $130 shipped (If I remember right). Labor at a local shop ran about $280 and that was because they like me. Another shop in town qouted me $500. Good luck.

Why would you pay those inflated dealer prices to get it done? If you can turn a wrench, draw a picture, and can walk and chew bubblegum at the same time, you can probably change your KS out. Part cost varies from place to place, but you'll probably get the best deal thru Courtesy Nissan or Tustin Nissan (look in the "links" section). If you go through the dealer, look for (rough estimate) a 3-4 hour job @ $60 or so per hour for labor.
