92 SE Clutch

My 92 SE Clutch is slipping, is there anyway to adjust it, or do I have to replace it? If so, how much should I expect to pay to have it replaced? Thanks for the information.

I had my clutch adjusted for $40. Ask your mechanic.

Adjusting the clutch will not usual solve a clutch slipping problem, unless there is no "freeplay" on the clutch pedal. Free play is how far the pedal moves down below starting to disengage the clutch. On most cars the freeplay is around the 1" mark. If there is no freeplay then it's possible that the clutch is partially disengaged when the pedal is at it's rest position which would cause the clutch to slip. The bottom line is a slipping clutch usual meens a new clutch.
