fixed something! but I don't know what!

haha

I remember in the past discusions about the power/comfort switch. The fact the tranny will automatically switch into power mode when you floor it. Well mine never did that, until recently.

I need to fix the clock (bad solder points), so while I was in there I wanted to see what I could do for the speedometer (going dead) I wasnt sure if it was the speed sensor or the guage (turns out to be the sensor), so while doing the clock I went ahead and pulled the guage cluster. I noticed the style of connectors used, bare copper on a flexible plastic, which really is'nt the best design, and since there were like four of these connectors with at least 10 connections each I figured I should clean them all with some alchol. After driving the car I noticed the power switch lighting!, I was like cool

I'm wondering how significant cleaning those connetors was. Maybe now the ECU/tranny ECU are getting a better signals now from the guage cluster. I'm also going to check my fuel economy and see if the poor MPG was just an illusion, maybe the odometer was running a bit slow! hehe (I guess its possible).

Looking forward to running the car again at the track (when the JWT ECU arrives).

Yeah I should be going to the meet, I'll roll with you guys.

Damn that means its time for my 3 coat wax job , bling bling baby. The max will outshine ANY new car....... It'll also be a good opportunity to update my sig. This current sig pic was from the winter and a wax job that was 7 months old!

If you need help fixing the clock, let me know. Its really an easy job, take about an hour.

heh, maybe you should stay in Toronto (Sars and all). j/k

This meet is usually pretty large, around 100+ maxs.

I usually see a couple infinities show up, but they're pretty much segregated . I know they're related and all, but they dont look anything like a max.

I'm like 5 minutes from Jason, so we can meet by me or by J. PM me to set up the pre-pre-meet
