Sure, dropping in an engine that cost more than the car itself is a common upgrade here on the ORG.

I think I know the engine you're talking about, D. The simple answer would be no. The "extended" answer would be, I don't think anyone here would be able to afford the cost of getting that engine, as the vast majority of us .orgy members are poor, college folk. Except me, of course.... I'm one of the 10 richest men in America, with nothing better to do with my time but to own a 10 year old car with little to no get-up-and-go, a dent in the fender the size of Rhode Island, and liability insurance.

I second that. If it's not about HID or body kits, lets bury it in rice! By the way Kingcarnage..your max looks good.

This engine has come up many times, I was one that brought it up last year... It's meant for a z31, and it's 300hp NA, it's not made for boost...
I think the consensus was that it may have fitment issues because it's a little bigger, but other then that, I don't know much more

it mounts differently. and it would take alot of fabing to get it to mount the right way. i would be cheaper to build up the VG that is in your max's now ... trust me.. for 8k thats alot of money for a 300hp engine. so far its cost half that for me and i will have significantly more hp .. maybe up around 300 ... but i dont know.. i know i will be well over 200hp... but i dont know about 300 but i can with alittle more tweeking. i am in the process of putting it back together now. look at my website and you will whats going on with it. sorry for blabbing but i thought i would give you guys an oppion from my side.

Are you doing any head work to your motor? With all the other work your doing you can build a lot more power if you have work done to the heads for better flow. Sorry if you posted about the heads already and I missed it.

i think what they're thinking is that the vg30e n/a in the z was transversely mounted, but in actuality it would mount fine in our car
