Front end alignment question
Front end alignment question
I tried searching, but came up empty handed.
there is 5/16 of an inch difference in width from front and back of tires. (toward toe in) also the car veers to the right when wheel is strait. Center position requires some force to maintain. Is torque steer involved, or just alignment?

could be the tires instead of alignment, probably not torque steer.
Torque steer should really only occur when youre on the gas pretty good. Sounds like you need an alignment. Uneven tire wear may also be a factor, but that would have been caused by the car being out of alignment also.
It's proabaly alignment. Your toe in is probably OK. Camber makes the car pull to one side. Check visually to see if your front wheels look vertical. Improper toe make you steering wheel not straight. Your control arm bushings could be worn. It there any clunking on bumps?
