Is the VG30E an odd fire engine or even fire? Thanks!

 

believe it or not, the firing order for the VG30E is 1*2*3*4*5*6.

 

yeah, nissan made it nice and easy. i thought of that then thought, well since it has a distributor wouldn't it fire 1 at a time. but i have the msd hooked up and working now so i guess i no longer need to know. thanks though!

yeah, mostly. it's dumping so much fuel in there it doesn't want to run. one nice thing came from the rich mixture though, i found an exhaust leak... lol. the fuel drips quite a bit from a tiny little hole in the exhaust manifold from some welds we had to do. i'll take it off and see if i can't fix it up a little bit.

 

If anyone is interested, for the VE, the firing is initially simultaneous (till she's warm), then it switches over to sequential (1,2,3,4,5,6)
