Hey everyone, my friend was driving beside me and said he heard a noise comming from my right front wheel area. Said it sounded like a bearing and only made noise when I got on the gas. It wasent a continuous sound, it was off and on. The only things we could think of was a pully bearing or a axel bearing. Any thoughts or similar incidents? Ohh and I have a 93 SE 5 sp. Thanks

could be your c/v joint. doubt a seized caliper would make a tapping. get under there and check out the c/v boot and see if it's cracked. happens all the time.

I think I found out what it was. I had a 10mm bolt missing on the splash guard behind the wheel. and the wheel wore a hole in it. I think that it sometimes came incontact with the edge of the tread.

Is it when u turn? if so sounds like my prob, my wheel axle is shot and costs about $130 parts and labor round here. Hope this helps.

No, its when i go straight, but it hasent maken the noise since i took the splash guard off.
