Got new cat installed

Hey everyone, i installed my carsound cat and new O2 sensor today. I had to melt the old bolts out since they were rusted. The car idels smoother and definetly has more power. The car sounds alot deeper and a little louder. I think it sounds really good. I think a y-pipe is next on the list.

Had my WSP y-pipe and Carsound cat installed recently as well as a 2k2 muffler and I'm loving everything about the setup.

what if the WSP Y-pipe is the only aftermarket piece in your exhaust system? Does it stll help alot? (poor college students like me can afford one part every 6 months it seems)

from what I have read it is the single most effective mod for the exhaust with or without aftermarket exhaust.

aftermarket exhaust really doesnt help that much on our cars...it does but very little.

MaximaGuy719-mandrel bent means that the pipe is the same ID throughout the pipe. Crush bent (non mandrel bent) means that where the bends are it is smaller than the rest of the exhaust...the factory b pipe is a good example of a crush bent pipe.

As far as install, neither would present a problem, right?

I have read some having problems with their sways hitting but usually because the motor mounts are messed up.

but there is no difference in the install from mandrel bent and crush ment. I see no reason the get the crush bent pipe...you dont get as much performance of the mandrel Y and that is why you buy an aftermarket Y.

Really, its not as much hp for us as the 4th gens. However, it helps will the exhaust flow by enlarging and smoothening it out. The 4th and 5th gens have precats, so eliminating those free's up the big hp numbers. Still, its a worthwhile mod

A WSP y-pipe is definately gonna be my next mod after I put my FSTB ans Tokico's on. If the WSP y-pipe is 2.5 inches all the way through and then it hits the 2 or less inch factory pipe, won't this slow the flow back down? Also, do you think I should get a carsound cat too?

Just go to www.warpspeedperformance.com Definately, get the 2.5 piping, it will be better flow. The y-pipe is only like $200, I'm gonna get one. Maybe the car busted the factory y-pipe cause it wants a wsp y-pipe. LOL
