I dunno... with a bit of work, I don't see why they won't fit (except for how funky the back side looks, of course). And one other thing, while we're on the subject of Cefiro fitment - in my searching for additional info on whether these headlights may or may not fit, I noticed two interesting tidbits:

the tail lights for the A31 Cefiro look *ALMOST* similar in shape to ours. I'm thinking it won't be too much of a stretch to put those puppies in....
I'm thinking the A31 ground effects kit would also fit our cars as well. At least the front bumper overlay might, with a bit of work.
This link may give you a better idea of what I'm looking at.

Thoughts anyone???

I kinda figured, at least as far as the ground effects kit was concerned. but I thought I'd throw that out there and see what everyone thought. But if you look at that link, doesn't that front end look surprisingly familiar to that one that N34JZ had photochopped of his car when you guys were working on that GD for a new 3rd Gen kit??

yeah it kinda does...by the end of this month there won't be any need for any more photoshops of that kit though

there is no real ressemblence...the chasis is tottaly different(A31 v. J30). but I know what Nupe is saying, it does kinda look like a "beefy" 3rd gen with different body lines.

Exactly. I was just exploring the remote (at best, Chris - so no flaming...) possibility that the tails might fit our cars.

this is a dead horse by now, but to me the car does bear great resemblance. minus the body kit, the lines are close to the 3rd gen. the A31 head and tail lights are more slender, not as tall as our 3rd gens, but the basic shape is almost nearly the same. and the rear glass/c-pillar is more raked on the A31 (the A31 preceded the J30). if you have a look at other A31s without the body kits, you will see that they are actually more slender looking than the maximas. but the subsequent cefiro, the A32 is the absolute same as the I30 sans the driveline. i do not remember if the 4th gen maxima is exactly an A32 chassis. if it is not, then it is extremely similar to the A32/ I30.
