Temp. Control Digital Display

My Temp. Control Digital display goes on and off. I have to slap it to display. Is that just a loose connection?

Also anyone knows where speedometer sensor is located?

Thanks

I have been having the same problem now for a year. I wish I could find out why. I took out the display broke it down and found nothing wrong with it. I put it back and it works fine. It doesn't go on right away when I put the A/C on. It takes a minute to kick on. I don't want to go to a Nissan Dealer but the summer is here and it is hot in San Diego.

solder joints needs to be retouched. it's probably loose...kinda like the same symptoms as the clock.

if you're afraid to open it i recommend searching for a place that repairs digital dashes and see what they charge.

My light on the temp control was very dim and going on and off when I first bought it. I took it apart and adjusted the 2 little bulbs to give them a better connection. Is this what you mean?
