i have a 90 maxima se only the sohc but its a five speed and its pretty peppy for being 13years old but i would like to make it faster so do they make a super charger for that engine or turbo system because nos can be a little risky if not done right so thats one of my questions and the others are i want an nice looking intake for it but i cant seem to find a piece to fit from the throttle body to the filter all i was able ti get was an adapter and it still looks bad in my opnion so any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated besides im sick of all the civics looking good not enough maximas out there maximas are by far one of the best cars on the road

Also, if you really want (as I do) you can turbo the VG. Notice that the 300zx from the same year has your VG albiet with a turbo. Go to a junkyard or ebay and find a turbo manifold (preferebly with the turbo on it, saves hella $$$) from that 300zx. Bolt on, find some headers/intake and enjoy!

1. no supercharger or turbo kits for or gen maxima. possible? yes but are all are custom jobs.
2. yes you can use nitrous for some extra power when you need it. there was a thread about this a few weeks ago, do a quick search.
3. yea there are intakes for our maxes. if going the open filter route, you'll need the MAF adapter, like you said. place racing makes a cai for us. ebay also sells intakes.
4. use periods!
