This past weekend here in Boston, the weather was unbearable. It was like 95+ degrees. So I had my A/C on and whenever I take a curve at moderate speeds, water or coolant, can't really tell which is it, drips into my feet or the passenger's feet. Sometimes is just a tiny drop, other times is like a cup's worth of liquid. Also, when i have the fan speed at #3 or above, I can hear a liquid noise inside the dash panel.

Can someone shed somelight on this. I tried the search function but was unable to find a thread specifically dealing with this.

it's most likely condensation inside your AC unit... there's a small hose (like 1/2" or so) that's supposed to drain the liquid out, but they tend to clog sometimes..

look around under the dash and you'll find it.. don't remember exactly where it comes out in our cars, but it's somewhere near the right side of the car just behind the front pass wheel...
jack the car up and look for the hose.. when you find it, stick a piece of wire or a stick or something in there and see if it's clogged.

 

I wouldn't drive it until thats fixed! The ECU is under there, and when it gets wet.... well, you can guess what happens! A mate of mine had his heater core burst and when he started the car up, it was blowing smoke and lights were flashing and all sorts!

 

Had the same problem.....it was the a/c run off hose. The hose was actually directed out wards and was not plugged. The culprit was a rubber seal that was cracked in the firewall that was allowing water back in. I took it to a a/c place and they just used some silicon or bondo or something to fill it. Since then no problems. Didn't cost me any thing!!

Good luck I sure hope that you find the problem!! Water mixed with any thing is never a good thing!!

yea make sure its not clogged. thats what it sounds like. get a small pipe cleaner or just a piece of wire my fathers an electritian i used a piece of 12-2 and cleaned it out.

Like the guys said, it's probably the AC hose. It can be either clogged, or as in my case in my previous car, it somehow adjusted itself so it wouldn't point toward the ground, but redirected the AC condensation inside the car. Very easy to fix.
