My CD Player is making that annoying clicking sound when you try to eject a CD, and will usually end up ejeting the CD eventually. I was wanting to replace it, but the dealers want like $500 for a new one, so I was wondering if there was some way I could attatch <a href="http://ssiamerica.com/ecom/itm00013.htm">this toy</a> into the CD input of the Bose Head Unit.

Does anybody know more technicly how the Bose unit switches to the CD input? Does it just switch to the CD input when there is a signal coming in? If this were true, would it be possible to "jimmy" this into my system?
