hey,this problem has kinda been with me for a lil while, figured it was just a belt, but i cant seem to pin point the noise, the squealing is worst when the car is cold and diminishes after around 3000 to 3500 rpm, sometimes not until higher, in the low end of every gear, can't seem to figure out where it is....any help on this subject, a kid i know has a '92SE Auto who had this squealing too, but i havent spoken to him in a long time. Seems like it'z coming from the top passengers side of the engine bay....any leads would be greatly appreciated, thanx

You say you figure its a belt but did you replace the belts? Yes more than likely it is a or all belts. Its not too expensive so go ahead and replace all 3 of them. If it still makes the noise then you have a bearing in something going bad...but more than likely its just a belt or 2.
