yup that about covers them all.

try checking the connection on your battery it may be loose or the clamp may be cracked and not putting enough force on the post.

It will be an electrical problem. Most likely you altenator is starting to go bad. The good thing is that you have a forewarning--unlike most people who experience a failed altenator. Get one from any auto parts store, return your bad one to get your core charge and drive happily.

Start your car, and with it running, take off the positive battery terminal. If the car is still running, most likely your alternator is good. If it stalls, alternator is bad. This little test works most of the time. If it is the alternator, you want to fix it before it drains your battery, then you'll have to replace both. Or you can take your alternator to a parts store and have them test it for you(or test it yourself). I would make sure the battery terminals are getting a good connection first. Good luck man.

I would bet it's a LOOSE alternator cable. otherwise the thing works, unless you hit a bump.. that doesn't say failing equipment, that says something's rattling around. most likely it's going to be a losoe wire on the alternator.

well guys guess what i did the test start the car then take the positive off the battery and guess what the car shuts off right away...so that means i need a new alternator...or maybe the cables..but the cables look good and tight..

Here's what I would do.....Since you have to take off the alternator anyway, I would take it to the parts store when you get ready to buy a new one(you have to have the old one for the core). When you take it to the parts store to get a new one, ask them to test it just to make sure. Because that test has always worked for me, but I've had people tell me it didn't work for them. So, better safe than sorry......don't need to spend all that money if you don't need to, right.? I bought an alternator for mine recently for my 92 SE, it was $185 + tax for a 95 amp alternator. Hope it all works out for you bud.

with it running, take off the positive battery terminal.............

Never disconnect the battery ,while running, in a car with an alternator, the voltage could go to +35 volts or more. How much does an ECU cost for these cars?

>>>Blue sparks and white smoke, the two most expensive components of any
electrical system, and once used up will cost a fortune to replace.<<<
