Help!!! No Radio, No Sound, Makes Me Crazy
Hi,
I have a 93 nissan maxima SE. Has a Bose unit with CD, and I can't get any sound from any of the speakers. The head unit is getting power, but no sound. I bought a 93 Bose Deck with just a tape player and got the same results, no freaking sound. You guys have any ideas why I can't get any sound?

If the head unit turns on OK, listen for the relay clicking on also. The relay is located in the right side kick panel (in front of the pass. door).
If you hear no clicking, the relay is probably bad. This supplies the power to the amps in order for them to turn on. Just swap the relay with another (from the relay box under in the engine compartment - fog lights or something not needed) to verify that it's the relay causing the problems before you spend $12-$15 for a new one.
