speaker size for 3rd gen maxs

I am interested in getting new speakers for the front doors in my 93 gxe. I do not have the bose system, but the back speakers were amplified with an "active speaker" setup. Anyway, I have heard that the speakers are either 4X6 or 6.5"....does anyone know the right size??

You can easily fit 6x9's in the back of a non-Blose system with a little cutting. No real need to as 6.5's technically sound superior to oval 6x9's. I did it because I already had some Infinity 6x9 3-ways from a previous system.

I also put 6.5's up front with a home-made MDF baffle. Check my homepage for pics.
