My New Maxima, Pics Inside!!!!!

Hey guys,
Yesterday I bought a 1992 Maxima SE 5spd. Its White with a black leather interior.

The car needs a new water pump, transmission and drivers axle. I already took out the water pump, have the replacement tranny next to the car, and need to make a trip down to Napa to buy the water pump and replacement drivers axle.

The car has a LSD Tranny in it, and the the replacement tranny is an LSD 5spd aswell.

Here are the pics.

What I cant figure out is how the intake manifold is so clean. There isnt a spec of dirt on in. I just wish the interior was as clean as the exterior, there are burn marks on alot of the interior, but luckily I have almost all of the replacement parts. All I need is a new hazzard light switch. I thought I had one from my 93, but I dont

wow, both of those cars are sooooo clean! how long have you had the black max? on my car the spoiler has faded, and the bumper is starting to fade as well and on most spots on the bumpers there are yellow blotches.

ah, Sorry guys. The black Maxima is AntonTheGrey's 1989 SE 5spd with alot of VE Parts in it

I just got done pulling the starter, I also took out the headlight so I could unbolt the very front end of the intake tube. There is now not a single piece of OEM Intake on the car

I just need to get a larger breaker bar and a 36mm socket so I can take the axles out.

clean engine, and the fogs look crystal clear too ... mileage?

but it has the pimp style seats I could never figure that out, could you get different style seats from the factory of something?

this is what my seats look like, yours is the "bumpy" kind though

Yeah, I never figured that out!
My old Max had the same style as mine, and it had leather door panels. This one doesnt have the leather door panels but still has that "other" type of leather. It was funny because I was almost conviencing myself that my old 93 must have been an aftermarket thing.

awsm66, thanks! its kind of wierd, but hey, atleast there's an explaination now. Makes sense as the sales pamphlets show Maximan's interior.

sp lit- thats for his CB. He needs it for his trip down to Arizona, they wont let him caravan down there with out it. Kind of stupid, its incase something happens to their cars, but nothing will happen to his car

Great Choice!

I am glad you chose that over the 4th gen, you will be much happier, especially since clean VE 5 speeds are RARE compared to the dime a dozen 4th gens.

I paid $1400 and chipped in $50 for the tow.

thanks Donald! I'm just glad it is a 5spd and not an Auto, it would be more of a pain to hunt down the rest of the parts

Plus, for all the money that you saved on the car, you can go buy a new digital camera.
