I've noticed a lots of melted third brake light housings and sometimes body brake light housings.
What is everyone else doing about this??? I change the third light bulb to a smaller bulb, but can't do anything with the brake light bulb.
Has anyone tried the new LED bulb replacement????

 

Hmmm, my third brake light lenses (on the spoiler) is slightly melted on one side. Too bad I can't open them up since one of the screw is completely rusted out and can't be turned. Oh well, I hope the bulbs aren't going to die anytime soon.

I noticed that one of my brake lights has melted the plastic holder. Its one of the 1157 bulbs. I haven't checked my third brake light yet. i just ordered some 1157 LED's at a pretty good price. Check out www.superbrightleds.com. I bought the 19 Led 1157 Wide angle ones. I should be getting them any day now so i'll let you know how they look. Does anyone have LED brake lights? How did you mount them so that they face outwards?
