These are for sale on Ebay. Are they any good? All this really does is get rid of the orange corners I already have stock right?

Yeah they basically just get rid of the yellow but they do a lot for the looks of the car. Any lights on ebay are usually pretty decent, they probably all come from the same manufacturer or they all use the same machine to make it anyway.

What about trim?

I'll need to get clear corners with the right trim right? I mean, the trim is part of the lights right?

im gonna assume you mean the black part? they are on the lights...from the factory the trim is gray so most people paint it black....

I just got mine from that guy...

Mine just came in the mail, bought them from the guy on ebay that you were looking at.
Havent put them on yet, but they came in perfect condition, and a decent price. Im happy with em.
They did come with grey trim, the stock ones are black. I thought the grey might look better cuz its such a light grey, and my car is white, that it should just blend. We'll see when I get them on..I say get em', hes a good guy.

Re: I just got mine from that guy...

Don't keep them gray. Paint them black.. They will look good even on a white car. Personally, I hate when I see 3rd gen's with clear corners with the grey trim. Makes the lights look oversized compared to the headlight.

really?

I would have never thought of that, I just assumed they were supposed to be grey. I can see how it would look retarded on a colored max. How the heck am I going to paint them? I dont trust myself, what kinda paint should I use?

Re: really?

It's pretty easy to paint them. Just mask off the lenses with some masking tape and then use some Black - High Gloss marker paint and paint the trim with a couple coats. The marker paint is easy to use.. you can find them with the mini model cars or in art supply stores. I think the name brand is called Testers? or something similar.

The gray trim looks pretty sh*tty, I have a superblack max and I couldnt stand the grey trim on the clear corners. I wanted to paint them, but I couldnt seem to get the right stuff so I thought of a different way. I actually used black Electrical tape on mine. You have to carefully put it on so it doesn't go on crooked, but the outcome is pretty impressive. I looks smooth and it doesnt come off. the adhesive is strong and I have had it like that for 2 1/2 months. I like it better than the paint because I didnt have to worry about getting anything on the lens. Just my $.02, Lata

Painted them..more Q's tho..

Ok so I went and bought that paint pen, they are drying right now, worked just fine, they look perfect;-)
I got to thinking what else could I get ahold of on my max and paint with this pen, LMFAO!
My question is: The lights in the stock corners are white, but as shipped it came with 2 orange bulbs, which I am not leaving orange, cuz that would make the lights look orange right? My question is, should I just take the white bulbs and put them in my clear corners, or is there another kewl color I could use?

i have hyperwhite bulbs in my corners (the 1157) and i left the 194 orange since the cops are a PITA...some people use blue which i think is annoying...

Re: Painted them..more Q's tho..

I'm glad the paint pen worked out for you. Just take your clear bulbs out of your stock corners and put them in your clear corners. That way your lights will be white. Some people upgrade their bulbs to hyperwhite which also looks good too.
