ok i heard of goo gone and other products such as WD-40, do those products really take the adhesive off the side door trims? what do you do, do you just apply the goo gone and let is sit on the adhesive for a couple minutes, or do you have to mix it with something? will it make the paint color change or make it peel off?

 

I used Goo Gone. Took a lot of rubbing and a whole lot of patience though. You could try a variety of products to see what method works best.

 

WD-40 works the best, and it won't hurt the paint.
