I think dark or black Maximas always look better or lower than lighter ones if they're unlowered because the lower bumpers and rockers are painted dark grey.

Looks nice Logan.

The reason that I like the Max unlowered is because I do my oil changes without having to jack the car. My oil container sit perfectly under the drain plug. All in all, it take no more than 15 minutes from start to finish to change oil and filter. With it lowered, I would have to jack just a little like I have to do with my girlfriend's '93 G20.

The other reason is because of speed bumps and road conditions.

Just a little practicality there.

cheers for the compliments guys

i want to get it lowered just a little bit. At the moment i have all the traction in the world, but i have horrible body roll due to stock japanese suspension. So since ill be needing springs anyway i figure ill lower it just a tad. However right now the wheels rub on lock turning, so i hope lowering it wont hurt too much.

just a question. would harder lowering springs get rid of some of the body roll? what else would be needed to fix it?

Easy thing to do is to tighten the front sway bar bushings, or even replace the bushings. You'll see a VERY noticable difference just by tightening them up. They should be torqued to about 80-100 ft.lb

Another cheap upgrade is the front strut tower bar.
