An injector sounds about right. Could also be an intake or vacumn leak, but I am leaning in the injector direction. You know how to check them? If you put an ohm meter across the leads, the reading should be around 10 to 14 ohms. You can also, have the car running and disconnect each injector separately to see if there is any change in engine speed.

it may not be an injector becacuse i have one that come on and off sometimes and when its not on i can tell real easy the steering wheel vibrates at a stop and you can hear the miss in the exhaust at all times and then of course theres the power loss youll know if an injectors not working but check them just incase like stated above

mine also sputters when I take off from a stop, worse if I have the wheel hooked. It has all new plugs, wires, and ect. I have no idea what it could be and I haven't been to worried about it. It has been like for about 2 months.

my main concern isnt the sputtering acutally its the fact that my gas mileage has been CRAP since it started doing this. i commute so its kind of important that i get as good mileage as i can ya know.. but thanks for the advice guys im on my way to get an ohm meter in a few minutes.

Stupid question, did you ever try replacing the fuel filter?

so today i was going to use an ohm meter on the injectors and check them, first thing i noticed was there was a vacuum hose that was seperated from the other half of it on the back side of the engine so i put that back together we will see if that was the problem! thanks again for all the suggestions!
