I Need Your Help! Plz Read!

1990 Maxima.I have replaced wiring from the battery all the way down to the starter.i have taken the starter out and had it tested.I have also replaced a relay in the engine bay reight behind the stock intake box.so now im running out of places to look.so the problem is this,my car does not always start.when i try to start it and it wont i get a clicking sound from the engine bay.sounds almost like a bad starter, but its not.so im looking under the hood and having a friend try to start the car and see bright flashing coming from the relay i mentioned before,so i think thats it.i go get a new one and wouldent you know it,she still didnt want to start.i dont think it is the ignition because i can push start it any time(lucky for me its a stick)so the only thing i think it may be is something with the fuel pump or some relay im missing.when i try to start it i just hear a clicking sound from under the car.so if anyone has any clue please let me know.thank you

so its only once in a while you get the click. So does it sound like the battery's dead ? that kind of click ? Check your ignition relays. If they are bad they may be tempramental and causing you ignition problems however it difficult to diagnose over the computer id have to hear it.

did u change the starter? it sounds like a bad starter or bad power contact to the starter. all i read was that you tested it. how did u do that? just gave it juice off the car? i had the same thing happen with my old century before it left me stranded in the middle of a road. changed the starter and no more problems

well i took the starter out and brought it to discount auto, they looked at it and teseted it and it passed.i checked the ignition relays and they are all good.im not the smartest with cars but i know my way around one and this has been by far the most frusterating thing i have ever had to deal with.try to imagine having to always park on a hill so if she wont start you can just pop the clutch,it sucks let me tell ya lol!!somebody who read this suggested that it might be the battery not holding a strong enough charge,i never thought of that and i will look into it.i also was looking through my haynes manual and it showed me where the fuel pump relay is,i have not looked at it yet so ill lat ya know.

fuel pump relay would let the car crank but not turn over. this has nothing to do with the fuel pump. it could be your battery

Which relay do you see the bright flash from????
It starts sometimes, right???
Did you check the clutch interlock switch????
Did you check to see if you had a good ground from the chassie to the engine???

i checked the clutch switch.the flashing was coming from the relay in the engine bay,i bought a new one.the battery is something that i did not really consider but i am going to look into it.and the ground is good.i will have the battery checked to see how good of a charge its holding,i will let you guys know.so any other thoughts would be great.thank you to all that have taken the time to help.
