are the bulbs that originally came with the car amber colored? these are for the corner lights. is illegal to put bulbs that emit a white colored light instead of the stock amber color

 

i don't think they're illegal as long as they don't emit a visibly blue color.

 

to answer your first q, the stock bulbs are white 194's. since they are behind an amber lense, the output is amber light... obviously. so using clear corners, to keep a stock lighting effect, you should get amber 194s. pretty sure white is legal too, just no blues and reds.

well i just wanted to make sure becuase the new bulbs i put in the bulb itself is blue, and it has a blue tint to it also i was trying to look for a clear blub to emit a plain white color like my silverstars but the parts store didnt have any. if you want to see pics just check out page 2 of my hompage....http://www.cardomain.com/id/maxima2k3

 

Get Polarg super whites from custommaxima.com. Thats what i have and they are a blue bulb that match my headlamps very well. I've had them in for 5 months and haven't gotten pulled over for them yet (and hopefully won't)
