rebuilt tranny question

Just had my auto tranny rebuilt, and it seems to be working well with one possible exception. When I slow down to turn a corner, I lay off the gas some, and then once I am around the corner, give it some more gas. The tranny seems to rev some before catching. Not sure if this would be in first or second, since it doesn't happen from a complete stop- only when I am moving. Hope this makes sense. Question is, is this normal?

That sounds like it's slipping...it definitely shouldnt be doing that just after a rebuild. Is the fluid level up to par?
