Tranny issues

Ok, I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to mechanic work put here we go. I know I have a bad oil leak, which I was told was probably my front main seal.(Don't know how to fix that.) But it looks like I am also leaking tranny fluid. Not as bad of a leak, but still. I guess its tranny fluid, because of the redish brown color. What do I need to check. I got my ride in Dec and I know there has never been any tranny service and my Max has 161,000 on it, but I thought that my tranny would start sliping not leaking. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

front oil seal is prety easy just take off all the belts and the front crank pulley and pull the old out pound the new in as for the tranny leak it may be your axle seal or seals with that many miles on it. if its those there harder to change then the front crank seal you have to take out the axles which if youve never done it before could take about 5 hours to do and i if they are original i would replace them when you do it because the boots are proboly gone but thats proboly the most common place to leak

hmmm... what work did I do on your car? I don't even remember now, other than the control arms...

I remember the front seal was leaking too, but not anything else.

which side of the engine is it leaking from? try to get under the car and see if you can pinpoint where the leak is coming from. it'll be easier to tell you how to fix then.

It's coming from the front driverside. Yea we talked about the oil leak but never could get around to getting it fixed. (I remember you had graduation and some party.)

You fixed the bushings on my Max and I picked up some belts, so I could change them.
