Lost blinkers......

Last night I performed the fix for my car clock, but when I bought the new capacitor it was a little to big and I had to shove the cover back on. When I screwed it back into the dash, I think it caused the capacitor's leads to get pulled out of the board. I plan to fix that tonight, but on the way to school this morning my blinkers just stopped working, including my hazards. This has never happened before. So my question is, could the shorted clock cause this? Or could be this from something else?

Did you reconnect the hazard button? If not, then neither hazards nor blinkers will work.

Pulled out the middle dash panel and noticed I didn't click the hazards wiring completely in. Thanks that brought my blinkers back
The clock is now "on", but the hour numbers speed by faster than 1 per second, its really funny. I think I put a lot of pressure on the new capacitor when I shoved the cover back on. Well time to pull the dashboard apart again.

Hehe yep. Ive debated whether fixing it or not, because everyone that has gotten into my car has noticed it, and thought it interesting. Plus I have a clock in my head-unit, so I don't really need the stock clock.
