say i've installed a y-pipe, now i need a cat back exhaust for my maxima correct? what compaines make catbacks for a 3rd gen maxima? i have a 92 gxe

 

i think there's Greddy and Brullen <- how ever u spell it

if i just had my y-pipe, and my intake, would it make any noise usuing the stock muffler?

 

Mines louder with just the y pipe..

Its not that much louder. I'll make another sound file/movie tomorrow night for you guys..

 

the stock cat and muffler is the quietest way to go. The cattman y makes a hissing sound upon acceleration and deceleration in lower gears.

word is that an Random Tech. cat is very helpful in holding down the noise level with a Greddy.

 

The RT cat has also been said to hush the y-pipe hiss some what.
