Tranny issues

Okay my 91 se grinds on the 1-2 shift, unless i match revs. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Or do I just have to deal with it until the tranny destroys itselfe?

Most likely worn synchromesh on 2nd gear. Check clutch adjustment anyways - mal-adjusted clutch can also cause same effect.
1st & 2nd synchro's are used the most so are more likely to wear than the other synchro's. Tranny not likely to self destruct any time soon if you keep matching revs between shifts. More of a pain in the butt - fix it when you're sick of it & can afford to.
BTW: all racing & rally cars have a variation on the non-synchro tranny - also called dogbox & straight-cut.
