Changing the cap & rotor is very easy. And inexpensive.
I bought Bosch cap & rotor at http://www.autopartsgo.com/ for $26 including shipping. (or $21 w/ free shipping if your order is more than $50)
If you aren't comfortable doing repairs but still want to, I highly recommend getting a Hayes repair manual. They're available online or in most retail car repair stores for $20 or less. You can also get used ones on line.

If you pay somebody to do this for you, you'll kick yourself later. Even someone who is inexperienced can do it without any trouble. Just make sure the new parts go on just like the old ones, in the same positions. Transfer your wires from the old cap to the new one one at a time so you don't get them mixed up. That's probably the most critical thing in the whole process. Are you sure they need to be changed?
This job is too, too easy. $26.00 in parts from any local, big auto parts place such as AZ, Advance, PepBoys, etc.
Two screws to remove the cap and one screw to remove the rotor. Like broncoguy said, if you have someone do this job for you, you will kick yourself in the azz. The big thing like he also said is that you pay attention to the wire positions. However, that is not really a big deal since the wires themselves are numbered as is the cap positions. Total time: 25 minutes (max).
