I have a 93 SE which I have problems starting. I mean it always starts and turns over but I just have to crank it so long before it comes to life ( atleast 3-5 seconds). The weird thing is I just replaced the old engine with a JDM with 24,000 miles, I also replaced the ignition coils but I still have this problem.
Also when I get it started, sometimes I have to rev to 3000rpm or it feels like it wants to die.But once it gets going its fine, just the starting.

Whats the problem?

 

Red coolant temp sensor sounds like it's bad. ECU never goes into cold start mode for some reason.
