There is a girl who hates her max because it is a stick and i want a stick.. the Blue book has mine as more than hers but mine is not in mint and hers is.. I want to sell it for 4000 and i am not sure what here dad wants for it. Does this sound like a good deal? Even trade?

If she's crazy enough to do it, take advantage

I'd say someone( family or friend) will get in the way if she actually agrees. See what happens, even if she agrees to trade with you + you giving her $1000, go for it.

are you joking?

if a girl wants to trade her 92 se stick for your 90 se auto.. gee.. lemme think.. um YEAH!! her 92 has a faster engine in it than your 90 se.. ie. your sohc, hers id Dohc, among the fact that it is a 5 speed, you would be dumb not to trade....

I've done the VTC mod; it's on my page actually
I've done it, Ryan Fobart (Killermove), JohnnyMax,RoseKen, and several others
no problems from it for me and no more ticking

VTC mod?

What is the VTC and what does it do?

Update on the 92: This Thursday we are taking mt car out for a spin. I want to get her dad down to see and drive it. I have my fingers crossed, but this is slowing me down from lowering it.

It is a 90

I found out today that it was a 90. So it is just like my car. How much more is it worth? Mine is nicer and I plan on leaving the CD player in it......... even?

So a 90 SE for a 90 SE. Usually auto's cost more than 5 spds and are easier to sell. That leaves options like leather, moonroof and mileage comparisons, plus shape comparisons.

If your mileage isnt outrageous I could now easily see her doing it.

That means yours is worth more. Auto always costs more, plus you have a CD player like you say, so she must have the tape deck. If the mileage is similar and you say she thinks yours is better. I cant see why she wouldnt do it. I know your probably doing it because you want some extra performance with the 5 spd and that car was probably never ever abused since its female driven. Good luck.
