how should a new clutch feel

i just got my new clutch put in but its real soft and only picks up like half inch off the ground should it be like that i kno every car has its different feeling of clutch...

sounds like that one should be adjusted better. adjust the engagement point and possibly need to bleed the clutch slave cylinder.

but the thing is the mechanic told me it cant be adjusted manually...

Yes it can your mechanic is lying to you, I had N34JZ's clutch adjusted at the shop when he had his clutch and motor installed.

dont mess around with your nutz too much or else you will wear it out, the clutch that is. Maximan190 was way too hard!!!! My is stiff for stock
