i just bought a 94 maxima gxe. one of the lights in the third(back window) tail light is out. and i must be stupid because i cannot figure out how to get into it to change the bulb. any help?

 

The whole thing comes out dude there are two plastic philips head screws on both sides of the 3rd break light. Just use a screwdriver to turn them a bit and they should pop out(I don't believe they are actually screwed into threads, but rather just pop out screws). Then I believe there are real metal screws in there that you have to unscrew, just look around you'll find em. It's very easy though.

 

there is a circular plastic clip on each side of the plastic housing
push in a little bit on the middle part of the clip and it'll come loose, then you can take off the whole plastic housing and change the bulb
