problem
past: all windows work wonderfully
yesterday: driver window stops working (no weird sounds)
today: driver window seems to work, but all other windows do not. (again no funny sounds)

using the main driver door switches, or the ones on the individual doors makes no difference.

they worked PERFECTLY sunday

 

its probably the controls on the driver door, but I'm not completely sure. A friend of mine with a 89 SE had some capacitors/other electronics (I forget what they were and looked like), on his drivers door switch panel burn up or something, basically burn marks and the solder had melted. hopefully someone else will coment, otherwise it could just be the window regulators.

 

sounds like your drivers multi window switch is failing to me.

 

would that cause the other switches not to work???
