I called my shop and they told me flowmaster doesn't make a 2.5 center in/center out in stainless, and for the aluminized one they want 120 bucks not including shipping...they reccomended a MAC muffler but i hear they aren't very good sounding. anyone have any experience with MAC mufflers? their one made out of SS is only 80 bucks.

I'm using a Flowmaster 50 series SUV (larger than the 50 series)
2.5" offset inlet, 2.5" center outlet part No. 52556. This is the biggest low restriction muffler that will fit a Max; ans that's what it took to reduce sound to tolerable levels (still nowhere near 'quiet') when using a Warpspeed Y-pipe and mandrel bent B pipe. Installed it was $161 including local sales tax. Here's a link that shows the same model
89.95 plus shipping: http://www.pro-max.com/FMSUV.htm
