Re-installing injectors how?

I should be getting my serviced injectors back next week, so I removed to fuel rail and the seals and cleaned them. Since I still have one of the injectors (the bad one) I was seeing how it fit back onto the fuel rail injector port (Originally I took the injectors out with the rail still attached to the car). So, I first put the lower O-ring inside the rail injector port, then tried pushing the injector down into it. My question is, how do you get the injector in snug where it will not pop out? I could only push it down enough to where you could still see some of the top (larger) O-ring showing. I haven't tried yet putting the "holder hood" that goes over the top of the injector, So I just want to make sure I do everthing right cuz I don't want any leaks!

Looks like you're on the right track. However, I did a BIG write-up on installing the injectors early this year. It should either be in the FAQ's, or a search as far back as January should yield even better results.

(note that I didn't flame you here, but you may want to do a detailed search, as I found your answer therein and others MIGHT flame you...)
