capulets and montagues

there are two polarized factions: the "show-chrome bling" camp, and the "i want to be a race car" camp. there is crossover, but not much. and these wheel style threads reveal who-is-into-what instantly.

Lines have been drawn in the sand for some time, and I'm sure those of us who've been around here for any appreciable amount of time know which side we're on.

you can also tell by the type of thread generated or answered.

if it's i need 2 more hp so im gonna take out everything visible in the car so i can do the 1/4 mile in 13.8 seconds instead of 13.9, then oviously thats a race guy.
if its im gonna put on 45 lb wheels cuz they look phat, i dont think theyre into race. i would say there is a good number of 3rd genners that are tolerant of both and appreciate both and dont bash the other side. then there are diehards that feel that their opinion is the most important and make it a point to let others know that everyone has to be like them.

opinions here have to be taken with a grain of salt.

put the stockers back on for winter iz. low profile tires have no grip whatsoever on show and i wouldnt want to see you total out the max cuz of something like that, or curbing one and being stuck buying new ones. they do look good though. get some daytime pics up

anyone want to give me one hell of a deal on wheels?

I think I might be the only maxima with a Fidanza rolling on stock wheels. And I know I am the only one with 3 different brand tires.
