well i hit a curb today

slid in the the rain and hit the left front tire, went strait over the curb. bent lower control arm, broke sway bar linkage, and busted a big chunk out of the rim. what is one of the junk yard sites where i can get rims and other parts?

thanks in advance

There are people on the org who can help with the control arm problem.

see danny's post or visit your local yard.
Or if you have the funds upgrade to Better wheels and tires. Now is the perfect time. why just replace when you can upgrade

i would also need new tires, tires and rims are pricey, i called every junkyard around here and no one has rims, im about to visit a place in indiana about 45miles in a day or two. hopefully they have something.

for tires and rims check on the org..there's a tire/wheel classified section. you might be able to score a set of 15" 4th gen saw blades or maybe the 16" 5 spoke for a good price.

all depends on what you want. Remember u can use the wheels of a late model Rustang for a "budget" upgrade.
That reminds me I gotta go by my buddies yard and check out the eclipse he's got there. I might buy it's wheels $100 for all 4
where in indiana u going to? I have connections in another yard in northwest indiana

Yes I have ALOT of connections in automotive.

Just trying to find one that will give me a brand new car evey now and then

ebay usually has some stock wheels pretty cheap, too.

For a temporary fix, you can check tire stores and ask what they have for "take offs." Sometimes you'll get some steel wheels (or alloy if you are REALLY lucky) from a newer car with decent tires at a good price.

I got lucky when I had an 88 Celica. I found four 95 Integra GSR wheels as take-offs for $250, with tires (they were like 15 percent, though). They looked way better than the 13" stock wheels and I sold them for $300 two years later with no tires.
