Max on long trip

I just got back from my mountain biking trip into the mountains. I dont think out cars like the thin air to well, especially when loaded and climbing a 6% grade at an altitude of 1600 feet. it kicked out of cruise once when going up a hill on its own. Other then that it never over heated.

[Sarcasm]OMG a whole 1600 feet!![/Sarcasm]

Try living at 5280 feet! Take a trip into the mountains and your up over 10,000 feet! Thats the defenition of a car choking for air.

Our cars starve for air. I was up in the mountains with my car and could definitely feel a difference.

Well, I am used to lots of air, since I do live at practically sealevel (right next to puget sound, seattle, wa).

On my road trip this summer I did some rally-style driving (almost) at 12,000 feet in Rocky Mountian Natl. Park....man was the max poochy up there, had to give her hell to pass cars going the speed limit of 35

Mmmm turbo! when you're under boost, lean air doesn't do much to the power... of course the turbo will have a harder time spooling, but it can still make the boost so you don't lose much power.

Matt, instead of all your little projects you work on, you should just make the 1st turbo kit....how hard can it be?

That's one of the projects on my list, but I've got to have money to fund it to begin with.

I can send about $7.39 and a couple packs of ramen noodles to help get the project rolling.
