Decisions Decisions

I need some suggestions from you guys. Here it is. TWO SIDES:

First side: I have a 89gxe/se (meaning its a gxe but certain parts i switch to se)
I love this car, Digital dash, performance filter, struct brace, i got your basic mods on there with smoe knocking speakers but the stereo is wack, was planing on putting in the dvd system in January. Here is the problem(s)
1: Both front bearings are broken
2: Needs new water pump
3: Needs new springs/struts
4: Radiator support is crack right down the middle/ new one needed
bottom line is its gonna cost a bit to fix.

Second side: I have always admire the 4th gens. i love the body stlyes. I hardly know anything about the engines or specifications. I'm looking to own one if possible.

My question to you guys is do you think i should stick with the 89 and fix the problems and role out by next year March or should i save my money and try to get a 4th Gen by next year May?

Any feeback is appreciated
Thanks

if you cant fix those problems yourself then it would proboly be more cost effective to get a 4th gen
