Help - Antilock brake problem

I just picked up my car after having 2 front axels replaced. As I pulled out of shop Antilock brakes went off when I stepped on brake just as car was about to stop. Brought car back, they claim never saw anything like it. They go off every time car is about to stop. Shop said drive it for a while to give computer chance to re set! New axels are antilock type. I disconected battery, on the off chance they are right. I plan to bring it back in morning, but does anyone have any ideas why so I don't get BS'ed for additional repairs.

Disconnect the battery for about 1 hour, this will allow computer to reset. If light would come back - bring it back to the shop and ask them to fix it (for free of course).
I hope you have paid with a credit card? You can always file a complain and stop a payment ...

An update, shop checked out and found axels not seated properly, blamed O- ring clip and said he would have to get clip from Nissan to replace.
