What offset are the 2k1 wheels?

Guys, you can't really compare your wheels to his unless they are the same width and offset. Sorry.

Yeah, that was mainly for the guy with the 8" wide wheels. Anyone want to figure out what his offset should be to compare with stock 7" wide wheels?

I can't remember what offset those 5th Gen wheels are, but I wouldn't run 235/45 tires on those because:

a) The wheels aren't wide enough and you're not supposed to use 235/45.

b) I'm pretty sure the offset on those babies is +40-something, so going with a 235/45 tire might cause some rubbing.

I'd just get 225/45, but try to search around for someone already running this combo to be sure. I'm sure you'll find someone.

you will have the same wheel gap as you do with the stock wheels. When you change wheels the overall size of the tire and wheel do not change, its just the size of the wheel relative to the tire that changes, so you will have smaller tires with bigger wheels making it look like the wheels fill the wheek arch more. You will still have the same wheel gap. If you want to get rid of the wheel gap then you will have to lower the car.
