Trunk Not Locking

If key doesn't turn - latch is caught in the wrong position or just frozen.
But in any case I would take out the lock (including latch), as well as links (check the links first - they might be the cause also).

Open the trunk and remove a cover from the trunk door. You'll be able now to access trunk lock and all mechanical part. Check all the links if they are in tact. Detach link from the lock (be carefull with link plastic locks) and try to open the lock by moving it. If it works - links are the problem. Connect them back and see if it works.
If not, remove lock assembly and fix it (I hope you have some simple tools).
Next step is to fix you trunk lock - see other thread posted 5-7 days ago.
