Power Steering Issue....grinding sound

Since its become cold here...my power steering's been making a short grinding sound everytime i turn it right...(clockwise). this happens only on right turns.

The odd thing is that this problem goes away once the car warms up.! It only happens in winters...last winter i had the same issue..and opon warming up...the sound went away. The whole summer there was no grinding sound at all...

does anyone know what this could be?
