I have a 91 gxe and im looking to ground an amp in the trunk where does everyone ground there amp so they dont getengine noise? Also does anyone have an amp that is mounted somewhere other than the trunk?

 

I grounded mine on one of the bumper bolts on the very back corner..
other places are the fuel pump cover, and any place along the floor (away from the gas tank) where you can drill a hole and stick a screw in it.. just sand off the area around it, and put a blob of silicone on the outside of the car so it won't rust.


you can also mount one under your front seats, but that's only if it's a small amp that doesnt' need a lot of ventilation.

 

i connected mine to a bolt that hold in the tail light.. seems to work well, no noise..
